A leading label printer and scanner supplier – a little bit of history

Label Line UK is a label printer and scanner supplier amongst other associated services. This is a family owned and run business that was established by David Lee, Stevie Jordan and Steven Lee in May 2008 as the recession began with a small investment and support from the St.Helens Chamber of Commerce.

For the first 18 months, the company operated in the spare bedroom of Steven Lee’s home with 1 sales representative and 1 service engineer.  6 months later Label Line UK expanded by employing a second engineer, another sales representative and a supply chain employee.  The company then moved to the function room of a pub.

By the third year with 2 more UK sales representatives and a Spanish sales representative having joined the ever expanding team, the company renovated a larger premises in St.Helens, Merseyside and converted it into 3 offices and a workshop.

As of January 2014 the company grew yet again and purchased and new larger premises in Knowsley, Liverpool.  As a leading label printer and scanner supplier, we are proud to say we converted it into 8 offices, 3 stock rooms, conference room and a large workshop with 14 bespoke work stations catered for all printer repairs with 15 on site employees.
