Labelline supplies thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers for manufacturers looking for clean, precise and reliable product and packaging coding with minimal maintenance.
Ideal for printing high-resolution text, barcodes, 2D codes, graphics and logos, thermal inkjet technology can be used across a wide range of materials including cardboard, plastics, metals, foils and wood.
With compact printheads, fast-drying inks and straightforward cartridge replacement, TIJ provides a flexible and cost-effective coding solution that can be easily integrated into modern production and packaging lines.
Print size, production speed, substrate and the amount of information you need to print will all influence which thermal inkjet system is best suited to your production line.
For some applications, a compact printhead producing a small barcode or product code is all that's required. Others may need multiple printheads, larger-format case coding or high-resolution graphics and variable data.
Labelline can look at your application and recommend a TIJ solution based on what you're printing, the material you're printing onto and how the equipment needs to integrate with your production process.

The ICE Viper Plus combines high-quality thermal inkjet printing with straightforward operation and minimal maintenance.
Using easy-to-change HP® ink cartridges, there are no routine replacement parts and consumable changes are clean and simple. Ink level tracking provides greater visibility of consumable use, helping production teams plan cartridge changes and minimise unnecessary interruptions.
A flexible configuration allows up to four printheads to be used, providing greater scope for printing text, barcodes, 2D DataMatrix codes and logos across different production applications.

The Markem-Imaje 1050 is a versatile thermal inkjet coder designed for manufacturers requiring high-quality printing without complicated operation or intensive maintenance.
Capable of producing high-resolution text, logos, graphics and fully scannable barcodes, its flexible printhead options allow print heights from 12.7mm up to 50.8mm.
High-speed serialised barcode printing also makes the 1050 particularly useful for applications requiring product traceability, variable information or promotional coding.

For applications requiring larger print areas, the Markem-Imaje 1200 provides high-resolution thermal inkjet printing at heights from 50.8mm up to 203mm.
Designed particularly for demanding case coding applications, its stainless steel printheads can produce large-format text, logos, graphics and scannable barcodes directly onto packaging.
Bulk ink delivery options also make the 1200 well suited to higher-volume applications where controlling consumable costs and reducing production interruptions are important.
The right thermal inkjet printer depends on much more than print quality alone.
Print area, substrate, line speed, production volumes, coding requirements and integration with your existing equipment all need to be considered before choosing a system.
Labelline can help assess your application and recommend a thermal inkjet solution that's properly specified for your production environment. We can supply and install your equipment and provide the technical knowledge and ongoing support needed to keep your coding operation running effectively.
With different print widths, production speeds, technologies and integration options available, getting the specification right is important.
Tell our team about your production line, what you need to print and the equipment you're currently using. We'll help you identify the right solution and provide a quotation based on your requirements.
